Aizawl the 28th November, 2020: The Mizoram Amateur Taekwondo Association conducted a dignified and solemn Black Belt Awarding Ceremony at Aizawl today.
41 students of Taekwondo, trained by the Mizoram Amateur Taekwondo Association from various clubs accross the State, who had passed an ardous Black Belt examination system conducted by Taekwondo India and finally approved by the World Taekwondo Federation Headquarters, South Korea, were awarded the BLACK BELTS and certificates at the ceremony.
The function was graced by Sports Minister Pu Robert Romawia Royte as Chief Guest. Pu John Tanpuia, Secretary, Mizoram State Sports Council, was the Guest of Honour.
The function, scaled down due to restrictions on Covid19, was attended by members of the Mizoram Amateur Taekwondo Association and invited dignitaries besides the students and their parents.
